Patrick Mahomes Makes NFL History with Astonishing Passing Plays

Before Patrick Mahomes can compete with Tom Brady for the title of best quarterback of all time, he will need to win a few more Super Bowls.

However, Mahomes, who is only 28 years old, is currently running at a historic pace and has already surpassed Brady in one significant statistical area.

Mahomes broke the record for the fastest quarterback in the history of the NFL to throw for 25,000 yards on Sunday. He did so during the Kansas City Chiefs’ blowout victory over the Chicago Bears, which ended with a score of 41-10.

Mahomes remarked, “It really is cool,” when asked about it. “It is an incredible privilege to be a member of this organization and to have the opportunity to carry out activities such as that in this stadium. It’s going to be material that stays with me for the rest of my life.

On Sunday, Mahomes played like the typical, amazing version of himself, completing 24 of 33 throws for 272 yards with a 127.3 passer rating. He also threw three touchdown passes.

Mahomes has thrown for a total of 25,044 yards over his career.

The fact that the two-time champion has been playing in the NFL for such a long time makes the already astounding figure even more impressive.

Mahomes played in his 83rd game of the regular season on Sunday.

After graduating from Texas Tech in 2017, he was selected tenth overall in the draft by the league. However, he didn’t get his first professional game action until the very last regular-season game of his first year.

Mahomes has effectively surpassed the 25,000-yard milestone in a little over five seasons of playing quarterback.

In addition to that, he has competed in three of the last four Super Bowls and has been named the Most Valuable Player by the Associated Press on two separate occasions.

Mahomes led a Kansas City attack on Sunday that had already outscored Chicago 34-0 by halftime and eventually racked up 456 yards by the time the game was through. This came after Mahomes had watched his offensive struggle in its first two games of the new season.

Mahomes stated, “It always feels good to get the whole offense going,” and he said the phrase several times. “For the first two weeks, we have simply struggled to find our rhythm.

“Today, I was really impressed with the boys. There are still some minor details here and there that may be improved upon, but overall, it was a step in the right direction.

While the starting quarterback for Chicago, Justin Fields, continued to struggle, Patrick Mahomes was making history.

The previous record for most passing yards in a season was 25,000, and it took Matthew Stafford 90 games to reach that mark.

Mahomes needed to compete in only six fewer games than his opponent.

Taylor Swift, a famous pop musician who was in attendance to see Travis Kelce, one of Patrick Mahomes’ Pro Bowl teammates, clapped for Mahomes as he made NFL history. Swift was there to see Kelce.

“I haven’t gotten the chance to meet her,” Mahomes added. I suppose that if she winds up being with Travis, we will run into each other at some point in the future.

It is conceivable that Mahomes will accomplish another significant milestone during his next game.

He is currently at 199 yards passing after throwing for three touchdowns against the Bears.

When he completes his next touchdown pass, he will have thrown 200 touchdown passes in his short career.

While Mahomes works to guide the Chiefs to another Super Bowl victory, history is being made by the young quarterback.

On Sunday, extended coverage of the Atlanta Falcons and the Jacksonville Jaguars game that will be played at Wembley will be provided by talkSPORT 2, which will then be followed by 11 consecutive hours of live gridiron action beginning at 6 p.m.
